Official Rules

1. Eligibility:

The MONOPOLY For Life Promotion (the “Promotion") from the Georgia Lottery Corporation is open to each eligible original purchaser at retail of a Georgia Lottery non-winning “MONOPOLY For Life” Scratcher Game Ticket (the “PLAYER”). A Player must also be a legal resident of the United States, who is 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Georgia Lottery Corporation ("GLC" or "Georgia Lottery" or "Sponsor"), IGT Corporation, IGT International, BBDO Atlanta, Scientific Games Inc., MDI Entertainment, LLC, Hasbro Inc. and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, contractors, advertising/promotional agencies, (collectively, "Sponsors"), and immediate family members living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Promotion Entry:

To participate, a Player must submit an eligible non-winning MONOPOLY For Life Scratcher Game Ticket (Games #1574, #1575, #1577, #1578, #1579) via the established Entry method for this Promotion. Entries for this Promotion will only be accepted via the Internet as set forth in Section 3.

All Entries submitted as set forth in Section 4 and received during a designated Promotion Entry Period as specified in Section 3 (“Entry Deadlines”) will be included in the applicable Prize Drawings.

3. Entries and Drawings:

A Player may submit an entry of any eligible non-winning “MONOPOLY For Life” Scratcher Game Ticket issued by the Georgia Lottery, along with other required information as specified on the Georgia Lottery’s Promotion website at https://ga.secondchancebonuszone.com/monopoly.

Drawings occur on a continuous basis, meaning the deadline for one drawing is immediately followed by the beginning of a new drawing period. All non-winning “MONOPOLY for Life” Scratcher Game Tickets are eligible for entry in the drawings unless otherwise disqualified in accordance with the rules. All entries submitted in the previous ten (10) drawings will be eligible into the final drawing. Entry deadlines are subject to change by the Georgia Lottery. Entry submission deadlines and drawing dates are posted on https://ga.secondchancebonuszone.com/monopoly and listed below:

On each drawing date, eligible entries will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the corresponding entry period. Odds of winning depend on the total number for eligible entries received and awarded for each drawing.

The Georgia Lottery Corporation reserves the right to conduct additional drawings and award additional prizes during the Promotion. Any amendments or changes to the Promotion rules will be posted on the Georgia Lottery’s Promotion website at https://ga.secondchancebonuszone.com/monopoly.

To enter the Promotion, a Player must be a registered member of the Georgia Lottery Players Club. Entries can be entered manually via the Georgia Lottery website or via mobile web. Mail entry is not applicable in this Promotion. If you are not already a member of the Georgia Lottery Players Club, go to www.galottery.com to join.

Players can only enter up to thirty (30) entries per day. If a Player attempts to enter more than thirty (30) entries per day, a Player may be disqualified. If a Player attempts to enter any ticket that the Player did not purchase, the Player may be disqualified. Players must follow the on-screen instructions to enter. Multiple non-winning ticket attempts using the same MONOPOLY For Life Scratcher Game Ticket from the Georgia Lottery and entries via automated computer scripts or other programming techniques will be disqualified. If multiple entries are submitted with the same ticket number, only the first entry submitted will be valid. If a person submits a ticket that the person did not purchase himself/herself at retail, all of that person's entries may be disqualified.

4. Prizes:

1. Instant Cash Wins
Upon entering an eligible ticket, a Player will be awarded either a Property Card or an instant cash win of either $50 or $75.

2. Monthly Drawings
The Georgia Lottery will conduct ten (10) drawings on ten (10) separate drawing dates for a Player to have an opportunity to win one (1) $10,000 prize or one of forty (40) $500 prizes. As specified in the Drawing Procedures, a supplemental drawing may be conducted to select a winner. If an entry is disqualified prior to the time that the drawing is finalized, an alternate entry may be substituted for the entry drawn. Each drawing may consist of more than one drawing if circumstances occur to invalidate the drawing. Regardless of the number of supplemental drawings required to complete a drawing, only one (1) $10,000 Prize and forty (40) $500 Prizes will be awarded.

3. Final Drawing
The final drawing will award one (1) $10,000 a Month for Life Grand Prize. Entries received into any of the ten (10) preceding monthly drawings will be eligible for the final drawing. The final drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries submitted via the established entry method and by the established applicable entry deadline date.

5. Base Entries:

After a Player manually enters a non-winning MONOPOLY For Life Scratcher Game Ticket, the Player will be awarded Base Entries according to the price point of the ticket (see chart below). Once the ticket is entered, the Player will receive either a Property Card or instant cash win and entries will be awarded. Once a Player collects and completes a Property Set, they will have the opportunity to play for Bonus Entries.

6. Bonus Entries:

When a Player completes a Property Set, the Player will be awarded Bonus Entries in addition to the Base Entries previously awarded upon ticket entry. The number of Bonus Entries awarded for completing a Property Set will be the sum of Bonus Entries awarded for each individual property in the completed set. The collection total will be the sum of the base entries awarded and bonus entries awarded. The Player’s collection total will be the sum of the Bonus Entries awarded. All the Base and Bonus Entries will be entered into that drawing.

There are three (3) interactive Bonus Games.

Bonus Wheel. The Player will be prompted to select a Game Token on the wheel to spin. The Bonus Wheel is comprised of two (2) wheels with the outer Property wheel spinning clockwise and the inner Game Token wheel spinning counterclockwise. Whichever Property lines up with the Player’s selected Game Token, the Player will win the corresponding number of Entries. A message will appear on screen and prompt the Player to spin a second time. The Player will be given a second spin and can choose another Game Token if the Player desires. The Bonus Wheel will spin again and whichever Property lines up with the Player’s selected Game Token, the Player will win the corresponding number of Bonus Entries. A message will appear on screen again confirming the final pre-determined Bonus Entries which have been awarded (combining Bonus Entries from spin #1 and #2).

House Swap. Cards with corresponding Houses will enter from the bottom of the screen and each house will tilt back to show a corresponding award underneath. The Houses will drop back down, and the cards will shuffle on screen. The Player will then see a prompt on screen to PICK A HOUSE. The House selected by the Player will tilt up to reveal their number of Bonus Entries and a message will appear on screen confirming their pre-determined Bonus Entries. If the Player selected a House which reveals a red Hotel, a set of Hotel cards will enter from the bottom of the screen and each Hotel will tilt back to show a corresponding award underneath. The Hotels will drop back down, and the cards will shuffle on screen. The Player will then see a prompt on screen to PICK A HOTEL. The Hotel selected by the Player will tilt up to reveal a multiplier and a message will appear on screen confirming the final pre-determined Bonus Entries which have been awarded (multiplier times the Bonus Entries). Players can win Bonus Entries up to five (5) times the price point entered.

Water Works. The Player will be prompted to select one of three (3) faucets on screen. Once the Player selects a faucet, the Player will be able to turn the lower valves to try to direct the water into one of three (3) pre-determined buckets at the bottom to win corresponding number of Bonus Entries. If the water flows through an intersection with a multiplier, the Player will earn that multiplier up to five (5) times the price point entered. A message will appear on screen confirming the final pre-determined prize which has been awarded (multiplier times the Bonus Entries).

Players may review their inventory of Base Entries and Bonus Entries by checking the My Entries page on the Georgia Lottery’s Promotion website. If the Player does not wish to play the interactive Bonus Game, the Player may hit the “skip” button to go directly to the reveal to see the Player’s potential Bonus Entries. The Player can see any Bonus Entries won by checking the My Entries page.

7. Notification to the Winner:

The Georgia Lottery will contact each Winner via (i) phone call at the phone number provided, (ii) email at the email address provided, and/or (iii) certified mail at the street address provided in his/her Players Club profile upon entry into the Promotion. Any prize winner whose Winner Notification is returned undeliverable due to blocked emails, incorrect address information, or expired forwarding address notifications will forfeit the opportunity to win the prize.

Prize winners of $10,000 and $10,000 a Month for Life (Top Prize Winners) will be required to complete and sign a Winner Claim Form and return the form within twenty-one (21) days of the drawing. Except where prohibited by law, Top Prize Winners will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and return it within twenty-one (21) days of the drawing. If, after reasonable attempts to contact a Prize Winner by the Georgia Lottery Corporation, a Top Prize Winner does not return the form(s) within twenty-one (21) days of the drawing, the Prize may be forfeited. In the event a Prize is forfeited, an alternate will be awarded the Prize.

8. General Provisions:

The Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) will conduct the MONOPOLY For Life Second Chance Promotion for the opportunity for an eligible Player to win one of ten (10) $10,000 Prizes, along with smaller prizes, in ten (10) separate drawings and an opportunity for an eligible Player to win one (1) $10,000 a Month for Life Grand Prize in a final drawing according to the Official Rules provided in this document. The one (1) $10,000 a Month for Life Grand Prize will be paid annually in one lump sum of $120,000 per year for a minimum of twenty (20) years ($2,400,00). The MONOPOLY FOR LIFE Second Chance Promotion is comprised of a family of MONOPOLY Scratcher Game Tickets with purchase prices of $1, $2, $5, $10, and $20 that correspond respectively with GLC game numbers #1574, #1575, #1577, #1578, and #1579.

The Georgia Lottery Corporation, IGT Corporation, IGT International, BBDO Atlanta, Scientific Games International, Inc., MDI Entertainment, LLC, Hasbro Inc., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, contractors, advertising/promotional agencies, and employees assume no liability or responsibility for damages, losses, or injury resulting from this Promotion or acceptance or use of a prize. Taxes and any other incidental expenses not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of a Prize Winner. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations shall apply.

By participating in the Promotion, all participants and Prize Winners agree to the MONOPOLY For Life Second Chance Promotion Official Rules and the decisions of the Georgia Lottery, whose decisions shall be final in all respects and legally binding in all matters related to this Promotion. All participants and Prize Winners agree to release and discharge, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor and Sponsors against any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage (including but not limited to property damage, personal injury and/or death), claims, actions, costs and expenses (including without limitation, all attorney's fees and court costs) arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with his/her participation in the Promotion, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activity, including but not limited to any travel-related thereto or any goods/services provided in connection with any prize. Participants further acknowledge that Sponsor and Sponsors are in no manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees of a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers' terms; therefore, Prize Winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. Prize Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes on prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of the Promotion, including without limitation, barring and disqualifying individuals who do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants' rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor and Sponsors in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, participants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the Superior Court of Fulton County, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Records related to the Promotion (including, but not limited to, Entries, drawing results and winners lists) will be retained for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days after the last drawing date.

Decisions of the President / CEO: In the event of any situation not provided for in these MONOPOLY For Life Second Chance Promotion Official Rules, or any conflict between any provisions of these rules, the decision of the President/CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corporation, or her designee, shall be final and binding.
